Welcome to Yerevan. This is the right day to explore one of the oldest cities in the world which is, at the same time, a very young one as a capital. You will get acquainted with 3000 years old archeological sight and the modern city center. How many cities do you know which are designed by one architect? Yerevan is one of those rare examples. From 3000 years old cuneiform inscriptions to the park of modern art masterpieces brought from different parts of the world. You can see three works of Fernando Botero in the park of Cascade. And, what about a delicious traditional lunch?
Day 3
Yerevan-Khor Virap-Echmiatsin-Lunch -Genocide Museum and Memorial-Vernissage-Yerevan
Following the traces of Saint Gregory the Illuminator, we will visit the Holiest places for the Armenians as the First Christian Nation. It was in Khor Virap, where Gregory was condemned to die, but remained alive by miracle and 13 years later founded the
Cathedral of the First Christian state. After lunch in a unique restaurant situated in the folk center for children’s art, continue the way towards Yerevan. In the Folk center you can participate in different master classes of local cuisine and crafts (optional).
In Yerevan you will pay a visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial and Museum.
In Vernissage craftsmanship open air market you can get nice souvenirs for you and your friends.
Day 4
Yerevan – Noravank –Areni- Lunch – Tatev – Khndzoresk- Hermon

You will pass the nearest point in Armenia to the Biblical Mount Ararat. Continuing your way towards the South, you will see the cave where the oldest shoe in the world was
found. Take the Longest and the Highest Aerial Tram (closed on Monday)in the World to get one of the most beautiful and the most important Monastic Complexes in Armenia. Taking the aerial tram called the Wings of Tatev, you will “fly” above the gorge of Vorotan river by the longest and the highest aerial tram in the World recorded in Guinness. You will see the Nature of the amazing mountainous region of Syunik from the birds eye view. You will have the chance of visiting the cave city of Armenia-Khndzoresk and, cross the 160 m long swinging bridge, hand over 63m deep gorge.
Day 5
Hermon-Selim -Sevan- Sevanavank-Yerevan
After breakfast in the resort drive to the East. You will see the Medieval Armenian Caravanserai on 2410 msl . Continue your way towards Sevan. You can have a boat trip (if it is not an extremely windy day) in the largest lake of Caucasus. During the trip you will be accompanied with breathtaking Nature.
Day 6
Yerevan-Armenian Alphabet Park-Amberd-Folk Theatre-Traditional lunch-Yerevan
This is going to be one of the most interesting and exciting days of the trip. The highlight of the day is the center for the folk art, where, after traditional lunch in the village of Byurakan, a special interactive show will be performed to you. You will get acquainted with rites and traditions preserved for millenniums. It is going to be extremely nice and amusing.
Day 7
Yerevan-Gyumri-Harichavank-Yerevan
A trip to the second largest city of Armenia-Gyumri. Here you will see an authentic city of XIX century architecture. In the museum of urban life and architecture, you will get acquainted with every day life and the traditions of the city. Thanks to the model of the city you can imagine how Gyumri looked like before the terrible earthquake of 1988. Have a walking tour in the Old Gyumri, where you will feel the soul of the city. After lunch visit the Medieval Monastery and Seminary of Harichavank and drive back to Yerevan.
Day 8
Garni Temple-Jeeping to Garni gorge-Geghard-lunch-Yerevan
During this trip you’ll visit two of the must-see sights of Armenia: the cave monastery Geghard(UNESCO) and the pagan temple of Garni. Geghard monastery is one of the masterpieces of the medieval Armenian architecture. Garni temple is the only pagan temple of Greco-Roman style in the territory of all the post-soviet countries. Jeeping through the canyon of Azat river, enjoy the beauty of Natural columns of basalt, that look like the musical instrument called Organ.
Day 9:Departure
Transfer to the airport.
