Tbilisi-Haghpat-Dilijan Verev Rope Park-Old Dilijan Complex-Sevan-Yerevan
The driver will pick you up from your hotel in Tbilisi. After 1 h 30 min drive you will be at the Armenian-Georgian border. After the formalities and money exchange, your first sightseeing stop in Armenia will be Haghpat monastic complex. It will take you almost an hour to get to Haghpat. This is one of the biggest monastic complexes in Armenia. It is the first sight included into UNESCO from the territory of the Republic of Armenia. After the visit, continue your way to Dilijan. This resort town is situated in the homonym National Park. DIlijan hosts the biggest Rope park in Armenia and the neighboring countries. People of different ages will have fun here (2 years+). Don’t miss the cozy Old Dilijan complex. Here you can imagine how the rich of Dilijan lived in the XIX century. Time to head towards Yerevan. Just an hour and 30 minutes and you are in the capital! But wait! You are going to pass by the second largest mountain lake in the world-Lake Sevan. You can admire the beauty of the lake from the top of the peninsula, where a 9th century monastic complex is situated.
