Day 3:

Khor Virap- Holy See of the Armenian Church Echmiatsin – Lunch – Hripsime -Zvartnots – YEREVAN

Dilijan city tour-Goshavank Monastery- Akhtala-Haghpat
The day is dedicated to the crafts of Armenia. Dilijan is one of the cities of the best craftsmen in Armenia. The highlight of this day is going to be the best example of needle-worked medieval cross stone (XIII c.) situated in Goshavank Monastic Complex. Haghpat-Odzun-Lore Fortress – Gyumri
Enjoying the amazing Nature of Lori, explore one of the rare examples of early Christian architecture in Armenia-Odzun monastery. Here you will find traces from the IV-V centuries. Don’t miss your chance to visit the XI century Lore fortress on your way towards Gyumri. Thisis the second largest city of Armenia. In the XIX-XX centuries, the
most active cultural life was in Gyumri.. The mix of black and red volcanic tufa
stone two-storied buildings make the historic center more attractive. The
Kumayri Historic District, is like a museum under the open air, and has a
big number of 18th and 19th century buildings. This is the only place in the
country where people can see an authentic historic Armenian city. In 2015 Holy Martyrs Armenian Catholic Church was inaugurated. This is the new Cathedral of the Armenian Catholics in the Republic. In 2016 Pope Francis visited Gyumri and celebrated Holy Liturgy in the main square of the city.

Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Genocide Museum and Memorial- lunch-Matenadaran (Museum of the Armenian miniatures is closed on Sunday and Monday)-leisure time in Yerevan
